Adam is trained as an architect and an engineer. He has worked in both the public and private sectors, founded nonprofit and consultancy firms, and served in teaching and research capacities on university faculties in both the U.K. and the U.S, including the University of Colorado. He recently spent a year in Sydney, Australia as a Senior Environmental Design Engineer at the international engineering firm Arup. Adam returned to Boulder last summer and is spearheading the launch of the Boulder Community Tool Library.
