Born and lived in Indiana until college in Oklahoma. Lived in Washington DC and Alexandria VA for 12 years, Chicago 7 years, MS from University of Chicago. Moved to Denver 1975. Social work in Denver, Jefferson Co. and Boulder. Moved to Lafayette 1995 and to Boulder 1997 to present. After retirement worked part-time at Front Range Community College from 2000 till 2011.
