Saying that ongoing discrimination and police violence against the African American in Boulder must end, Boulder’s black resident held a passionate rally on Courthouse Square yesterday.
Chanting “Black Life Matters” and singing “I shall overcome,” the attendee waved signs and marched around the block before holding a brief press conference. Organizer Janyce Williams told reporters that 100% of Boulder’s African American population supported the goals of the rally and would vote as a bloc for equality and fair treatment at the hands of the police.
