About the author:
Gary Sprung spent twenty years working to protect the environment of Gunnison County, Colorado and Planet Earth, as a board member and president of High Country Citizens Alliance. He also worked as Environment Editor for mountain bike magazine and as Senior National Policy Advisor for International Mountain Bicycling Association. After all those great times in Crested Butte, he now works as a database and web developer in Boulder.
