Greetings from the Blue Line!
This year, we are focusing our election coverage efforts on profiles of the Boulder City Council candidates. We are thrilled to have recruited former Colorado Daily reporter Richard Valenty to interview all of the City Council candidates and write profiles of them. Richard was a staff writer for the Colorado Daily from 2000-2008, and was elections editor from 2004-2008. He also worked at the State Capitol for eight years as a legislative aide for Sen. Rollie Heath and in a variety of positions with the Colorado Senate Democrats. We are so lucky to have snagged him for this project! We will be posting his candidate profiles over the next couple of weeks, starting today.
