The speaker is Professor Richard Alley of Penn State University.  He is one of the leading research people in studying what is happening to the Greenland and other ice sheets because of rising temperatures.  A few years ago I wrote a review of his book &#8220;The Two-Mile Time Machine&#8221; which described his<br \/>\nwork in Greenland.  He is excellent in his research and writing.
