The Community Questionnaire

The Community Questionnaire is a collaborative effort among many of Boulder’s neighborhoods, non-profit organizations, and the Blue Line to elicit responses from City Council candidates on issues of concern and to make those responses available to the public.

Select a topic to find out where a particular candidate, or all the candidates, stand on that topic.

Over 140 questions from 30 organizations were submitted. In cooperation with those organizations, we combined and edited the questions down to a more manageable 70, about 33 of which are multiple choice or yes/no questions.  Here is a pdf of the questionnaire.

Reporter Brittany Anas

Whereas the Community Questionnaire tells you about the candidates’ stances on the issues, the candidate profiles tell you about the candidates’ lives. We are very excited to have former Daily Camera reporter Brittany Anas on board this year to interview the candidates and write the candidate profiles. This talented and seasoned reporter brings both a depth of understanding of Boulder politics and a consistently high level of quality to her work—substantially raising the bar on our election coverage.
