Boards and Commissions: Latest Appointments

On Tuesday night (May 18, 2010), the City Council filled the four remaining Boards and Commissions positions for the year.  Council members Lisa Morzel and Matt Appelbaum were absent.

Board of Zoning Adjustment

There were two applicants, Laura Coates and Kimman Harman.  Coates was appointed to the five year term with seven votes.

Human Relations Commission

One applicant, Susan Gesundheit, was appointed.

Landmarks Board

There were three applicants, Linda Haertling, Kurt Nordback and Dylan  Williams.  Nordback was appointed to the one year term with five votes from KC Becker, Suzy Ageton, Macon Cowles, Ken Wilson, and George Karakehian.  Williams received two votes from Crystal Gray and Susan Osborne.

Transportation Advisory Board

There were four applicants for this board position, Andria Bilich, Brookie Gallagher, Francoise  Poinsatte and Jessica Yates.  Yates was appointed to the five year term with votes from  Ageton, Becker, Osborne, Wilson and Karakehian.  Gray and Cowles  supported Bilich.
